Absolute Creative were approached by a local fresh produce company to develop their branding as they had changed their company name. They wanted their brand to be noticed and remembered, with a contemporary look and feel. The client also wanted an emphasis of their heritage as they first began in 1979 and the produce they supply.
Bringing the brand to life
We started by developing the typography to include all the aspects of their new company name, using different weights and a combination of serif and sans-serif typefaces to add emphasis.
With the final layout of text approved, it was then time to get the element of being remembered. We were requested to include a beetroot – after visualising this with photography, which was liked, it still didn’t have the initial “striking” impact that was required. So we started to develop some illustrations which a natural and organic feel to them. With the beetroot done, we completed the set by adding a carrot and chilli illustration. These would be used as accents for the stationery and van livery.
